My Approach

Core Process Psychotherapy

About Me

I am a Core Process Psychotherapist and Supervisor working from a room in my home in Hampstead. I have a small dog who greets and supports people too. I welcome any feelings/matters that want to arrive in the room, whether present or past. The clearer we see the conditioning created in our pasts, even generational, and the greater awareness we have of it, the more freedom and choices we have going forwards.

I originally trained as an Occupational Therapist: working with those with dementia, leading relaxation and pain management for those with cancer at the Homeopathic Hospital, and in community mental health in East London. I have been a CPP therapist for over 30 years, which is a mindfulness based therapy training, initially in the NHS and then privately. I have also lived and worked in Australia, where I was an outreach worker for a Mother and Baby unit. I have particular experience in working with anxiety management, dissociation, pre/post-natal (as mother or child), and supporting end of life experience.

Do get in touch via email or phone call and we can have an initial conversation, and discuss availability, before we meet.

I have supervised occupational therapists, craniosacral therapists and psychotherapists for more than 20 years. I see people individually and in groups, and have been involved in running the supervision years at Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Mother and baby relationships, pre/post-natal.
I have worked with people with Dissociative Identity Disorder through the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, and privately.
