I am a qualified systemic psychotherapist. I have also worked in mental health care in the NHS for many years, and have an understanding of the issues that arise when someone is making the decision to seek help.
Anyone who comes to see me will find an open-minded thinking space in which we can have conversations about ideas and feelings with a focus on how these affect relationships. The aim of this is to ‘make sense’ of where the person has come to in their lives. This can then be a starting point for carrying on life with hope, energy and confidence.
I work with individuals, couples and families in my consulting room close to central Swansea.
I originally trained and qualified as a doctor in the 1990s, and now work part-time as an NHS psychiatrist, and part time in my independent psychotherapy practice.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
