About Me

Hi, I'm Claire and I founded Broad Horizons psychotheraputic services in 2007. I have over 27 years experience working as a counselor and child and adult psychotherapist. I am also secretary of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation and am a board member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Young People and Families. Alongside my therapeutic practice and international work in the field of trauma and dissociation, I am currently undertaking a PhD focusing on Trauma and dissociation in children and young people and am a Senior Lecturer in Counselling for the University of Northampton.​ I also publish within the field of psychotherapy and specialise in working with trauma and dissociation with children, young people and adults.​

Throughout my life I have been based in a range of settings, such as a registered Gestalt Psychotherapist, Counsellor, CBT therapist, Play Therapist and Social Worker.​
