I am a UKCP registered existential psychotherapist and completed my training at Regent's University London in October 2022. I have many years of experience of meeting with people, especially when they might be going through challenging times. I graduated and worked as a midwife/nurse from 1987-1996, volunteered with bereavement and mental health charities for over 15 years , and have assisted children and adolescents in nurseries and schools from 2013- 2018. I've lived in many places around the world from the age of 4, which has created a particular interest in transitions and identity. I am currently a clinical manager of a low cost counselling charity in South Oxfordshire, where I support placement and qualified counsellors and facilitate groups. Here the clients present with many different mental health challenges. I have further interests in anxiety, depression and where appropriate how trauma has affected the body. I meet with clients online, on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning and afternoon.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
