I am a qualified Clinical Psychotherapist (UKCP) and Integrative Counsellor (MBACP), currently in the final stages of a doctorate in Counselling Psychology by Professional Studies (DCPsych) at the Metanoia Institute in London. The course is accredited by The British Psychological Society (BPS).
I offer both short-term and open-ended individual counselling and psychotherapy for adults at my private practice in Winchmore Hill, N21. Given the current situation with COVID-19, all sessions are now taking place online or by phone until further notice.
I have worked in a variety of mental health and therapeutic settings, as well as in the Higher Education Sector, supporting individuals presenting with a wide range of issues.
Everyone goes through difficulties at some point in their lives and many people benefit from the support of a therapist. Often individuals face stressful situations, which they would like to discuss in a safe and supportive environment. These may include work related issues, bereavement, or past events which are still causing pain and suffering. Others may wish to change aspects of themselves they are not happy with and see counselling as an opportunity for self-development. Some may want to improve their relationships or seek meaning in their lives. Perhaps you do not know what is wrong and want help figuring out what is troubling you.
Therapy can be immensely rewarding leading to increased self-awareness and personal growth. Regardless of your reason, I will carefully listen to you in a non-judgmental, caring and confidential space, in which you can explore your thoughts, feelings and relational patterns. Together, we can find a way forward, so that you can lead a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
