I am an experienced therapist and offer a safe and caring relationship where clients are encouraged explore their difficulties in a compassionate, non-judgemental and confidential space.
Specialising in all forms of anxiety including trauma, panic disorders and phobias I also assist with depression, childhood trauma, relationship issues, accidents, bereavements and losses. Additionally, I support clients who want to reassess their life paths, their priorities and relationships, or those who want to learn to deal with destructive repeating patterns.
Integrating existential and person-centred therapy with tools from CBT allows me to tailor my approach to each client. I practise mindfulness for my own benefit and can teach mindfulness techniques, which enhance well-being and self-awareness and are effective with anxiety and depression.
I also I offer EMDR therapy (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing), which is recommended by NICE (NHS) for the treatment of posttraumatic stress, and for trauma arising from accidents, operations, and childhood abuse. EMDR can be used to defuse debilitating, toxic or shameful memories. It is also helpful with most anxiety disorders such as social anxiety, claustrophobia, difficulties with public speaking, or fear of flying.
I currently work in private practice for The Therapy Practice London from our rooms in the Sir Ludwig Guttmann Health and Wellbeing Centre in the East Village in Stratford, close to Stratford International and Central Line Stations. In addition, I offer skype sessions for those on the move.
I am registered with Aviva, Cigna, WPA and Simply Health as a provider of psychological therapies.
