This context extends into the more sociological aspects of life and current events such as the Pandemic
I am registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and The Association of Family Therapy as an Individual, Couple and Family Systemic Psychotherapist.

I have a lot of experience working with clients who experience anxiety and depression, and use simple mindfulness and cognitive techniques as part of my work. I believe education about managing our mental health and establishing resilience is a significant part of any treatment.
One of my major interests is looking at mental health and relationships around the transitions into parenthood, including assisted conception, ante natal and postnatal depression, challenges with parenting, blended families and single parent families. The responsibilities as a parent and partner can feel complicated and overwhelming at times from birth to adulthood, and will often benefit from identifying strategies and coping mechanisms in a non- judgemental and safe environment, with or without the children present.
I will also draw on previous experience as a mental health nurse and specialist health visitor, though now I only work in the independent sector as a psychotherapist.
