I no longer define myself within ‘an approach or type of therapy’. I can only state that my approach reflects empathy, kindness and genuine care. I have a particular interest in the Mindfulness approach for managing stress and pain.
I qualified as a psychotherapist over 25 years ago. Since 2011, I have been employed as a Specialist Psychotherapist within Reproductive Medicine at University College London Hospital (UCLH), and I undertake similar work with The Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH). I have been deeply inspired by my clients’ incredible resilience, which has motivated me to dedicate over 25 years to supporting those struggling to create or extend their families.
Prior to my position at UCLH, I worked in similar roles at The Royal Free and Barts Health NHS Hospitals.
I have a particular interest in the Mindfulness approach for managing stress and pain. Currently, I am training as a mindfulness teacher with Breathworks, a trusted accreditation, which will enable me to teach mindfulness for pain, illness, and stress management.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
