My Approach

My approach is pluralistic with a relational Jungian base. I like to work with dreams, using metaphors, and the therapeutic relationship but what is most important is that you feel free to use therapy in your own way and at your own pace.

I can offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy in English as well as in French.

Taking the first steps towards change and growth is always the most difficult but psychotherapy can help support you on this unique journey. I can offer a safe and warm non-judgmental space where your worries and anxieties will be heard and explored.
In an initial consultation, we can explore what your difficulties may be and what you wish to gain from therapy and decide whether we can work together. My fees range from £40 to £60, depending on individual circumstances and a session lasts 50 minutes. I also reserve a limited number of spaces for people on low incomes: £35 a session.

About Me

I am a qualified psychoanalytic psychotherapist, trained at The Guild of Psychotherapists, and UKCP accredited.
I have experience working with individuals with a range of difficulties, at the Guild of Psychotherapists, UCL Student Psychological Services, in private practice, and volunteering on a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit in the NHS.

My special interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, abuse, relationship difficulties, bereavement, spirituality. I offer in person, telephone, and online therapy sessions.

My qualifications include:
B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology, conferring graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society.
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, The Open University, UK.
Certificate in the Foundation Course in Analytical Psychology, the Society of Analytical Psychology, London.
Master of Art History.
Master of French Literature.

Prior to working as a Psychotherapist, I used to teach in a range of different educational settings, for example, as a university Teaching Associate for 7 years in the USA; I also taught Psychology courses as an Associate Lecturer for Birkbeck College and also for The Open University for 9 years.

I currently have a private practice in central London and online. I am working with a pluralistically trained supervisor from the Guild of Psychotherapists. I am committed to continual personal and professional development and adhere to the Ethical code of conduct of the Guild of Psychotherapists and the UKCP.
