My Approach

Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. Movement Psychotherapist. EMDR Therapist in training.

My focus is around supporting you to think about relationships in your life, positive aspects of your life and strengths alongside sharing concerns. I am also an Iyengar yoga teacher and believe that the body is an important entity when exploring our emotional and psychological selves. I am skilled in bringing together the mind and body through a variety of models including mindfulness, body and movement psychotherapy, narrative, systemic, person centred and psychodynamic approaches. I will work collaboratively with you to develop your self compassion and build on your strengths.

About Me

I have over fourteen years post qualifying practice. I also offer support online or on the telephone currently. I practice privately offering a space for parents to consider wellbeing in relation to parenting. I am passionate about my work with parents in thinking about bonding with babies and young children. I am trained in Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) and supervise others training in this approach. I am also an EMDR therapist in training and would be able to offer face to face sessions for this intervention.
