I am a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with experience of working with individuals, couples, and families.
I am currently employed as a Family Therapist within a CAMHS service in the NHS and have previously worked in social care and in the voluntary sector. I have a background of working with foster carers and with new and reforming families. I am a trained Non-Violent Resistance Practitioner, with experience working with carers and parents whose children might be showing controlling behaviour, violence and aggression. I have also worked with couples experiencing relationship and mental health difficulties.
I am based in Bristol although can also do online work.
My approach is to work collaboratively to help make sense of the challenges and difficulties being experienced in a way that supports connection with others, and recognition of strengths, values, and hopes for the future.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or if you would like to set up a brief phone call to find out if my approach might be a good fit for you/your family.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
