I work integratively, which means that I strive to combine the best aspects of the various modalities of psychotherapy - Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Existential - for the benefit of my clients.
Beyond this, I embrace the Transpersonal approach, which takes a modern view on issues of spirituality and what it means to be human, to be conscious, and our place in the Universe.
Depending on the client, I might use art work, guided meditations, visualisations, and any creative methods that help a client connect with their deeper sense of inner wisdom and knowing. I especially enjoy working with dreams.
My parents came to the UK from India in the 1960’s. I have a deep interest in issues of race, religion, and culture, within the framework of Intersectionality, and the challenges that can arise as a result, and this informs my work.
I trained as an Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London, graduating with a postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work both online and in-person, at a beautiful location by Regent’s Canal in Little Venice, London W9.
My fees are £80 per session, but I also set aside a number of hours each week for low cost therapy, to ensure that those with limited financial means, including trainee therapists, can access the professional help they need.
I am accredited with UKCP, and as an Individual Member of BACP and am bound by, and adhere to, the code of ethics of both organisations. I am also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Association.
