I am committed to create with you a confidential, non-judgmental space where it is safe for you to talk about what is on your mind, no matter how “bad” or “wrong” it might seem.
I practice following two core values:
- Everybody is OK
- Relationships shape and re-shape who we are and in turn how we relate.
This means that I see the power of therapy as lying in the relationship that we build, as two equals. The focus of therapy will be on you.
I have been seeing individual clients for over eight years, both as a private practitioner and within the NHS. I also see couples privately.
My areas of interests are bereavement and loss, body image and self esteem and, more generally, unconscious enactments and patterns of relating.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
