Choosing counselling is not always an obvious or easy option, and it can take a lot of courage to take the first step in making an enquiry and then to feel trust when talking to someone who is new to you. My approach when working with those who make contact is to offer a non-judgemental, safe and accepting space to explore together at your own pace the topics identified, and to facilitate deeper understanding about any issues, alongside ongoing growth and development of self reflection and resilience.
I have experience working with clients from a variety of diverse backgrounds over a number of years, and have accumulated many hours of supervised practice working with different presenting topics. These include: trauma, stress, spirituality, sexual abuse, separation and divorce, self harm, relationship issues, pregnancy and birth, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), miscarriage, low self esteem, family issues, eating disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, bereavement, abortion, and anxiety.
I can offer online appointments for psychotherapeutic counselling and supervision online using an IT platform that allows us to see each other during an appointment. I can also offer telephone appointments. If what is outlined here is what you are looking for in a counsellor or supervisor of counselling, please email or call and I will aim to respond within 24-hours.
