I am a senior bilingual psychoanalytic psychotherapist who has worked in the area of trauma with culturally diverse clients including refugees and victims of torture and has been offering psychological support to individuals, couples and families in a variety of settings in London since 1997. I have been working as a clinician for fifteen years at Nafsiyat the Intercultural therapy centre based in north London with the final role of the clinical lead of the refugee family service, before I undertook the clinical responsibility to run the North London drug & alcohol counselling services in Enfield until 2017. I train, lecture and write on the theme of therapeutic effectiveness of intercultural psychotherapy.
