Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with individuals affected by anxiety, addiction, impulsive and compulsive behaviours. I also have experience of helping couples where depression is a factor in the relational dynamic, and adult children of alcoholics and/or drug addicts.
I have experience of short and long-term couples therapy , and 'am Tavistock trained therapist for couples affected by depression.
I have a particular interest and lived experience of working with diverse clients including people from African, Asian, Caucasian and mixed heritage; transitioning individuals; non-binary and polyamorous people.
I have a long-standing interest in understanding addiction and recovery, supported by an MSc from the National Addictions Centre, King’s College London, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. My training combined clinical research with practical experience, deepening my insight into the emotional and relational roots of addictive behaviour. I’ve worked with people recovering from alcohol, drug, and process addictions, helping them rebuild a sense of agency, purpose, and connection in their lives.
