As a psychodynamic practitioner, I am interested in how early experiences and attachments may influence our patterns of relating as adults. As a starting point for change and growth I offer a collaborative and non-judgemental space in which you are free to talk about any aspect of your life which is feeling difficult. The therapeutic relationship is an opportunity to think together about how the past and present may be linked, and how old ways of relating might be re-framed or adapted in order to meet your needs more effectively.
I am committed to working inclusively and with sensitivity to intersecting aspects of identity, and take an LGBTQIA+ affirmative approach.
I am an accredited UKCP psychodynamic psychotherapist with a wide range of clinical experience in community organisations, the criminal justice system, private practice and university counselling services. Prior to training as a psychotherapist I worked in the education and charity sectors, including roles in domestic abuse and adoption services. My work with diverse client groups has given me experience of a broad range of issues such as anxiety/depression, grief, intersecting aspects of identity, trauma and self-esteem.
