About Me

I am an analytically trained psychotherapist . I qualified at the London centre for Psychotherapy in 1986. Prior to this I had fairly extensive experience and training in the humanistic therapies-Rogerian, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt -obtaining a Diploma certificate after their three year ,part time training process covering the Introductory ,Certificate and Diploma levels-from South West London College.
I have been a practicing therapist (analytic fundamentally) or 33 years.My work these days is very influenced by Attachment Theory.
In recent years I have included Couples work where attachment theory on styles of attachment together with TA and Klein's and others' views on working with the countertransference are particularly relevant. My approach is kind and encouraging but I think it is essential to challenge to achieve better understanding and self understanding.
I also work as a training therapist and supervisor
