My approach is psychodynamic and integrative. I appreciate the uniqueness of each person’s inner world and language and I adapt my way of working to meet their needs. I strive to create a new therapy for each client, to find the best way for us to work together.
I work relationally, focusing on building a relationship with my clients that itself becomes the agent of change. I am human and let nothing human be alien to me, I aim to remove obstacles to growth by offering genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and an atmosphere of accurate empathy, safety, professional holding, mutual trust, and nurturing attunement.
Welcome, my name is Ania. I’m a registered and accredited psychotherapist and a counsellor. I offer short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups.
I am an experienced clinical practitioner, with many years of working with clients, within the NHS setting, and my private practice. My psychotherapy training is rooted in psychodynamic analysis, and my additional areas of interests are attachments, relational trauma, and cognitive neuroscience. My background is in Psychology, and I was a member of the British Psychological Society for many years, before training as a therapist.
My practice is based in a quiet, residential area of NW4 London. It is easily accessible by public transport and there are no parking restrictions.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
