UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
My approach is strongly based on my training as a family and systemic therapist. So my approach is highly relational, flexible and based on listening and building a shared dialogue that moves toward solution and management of presenting issues.
I've over 20 years post qualified experience as a family and systemic psychotherapist. In that time I've worked in the public sector with CAHMS and social services across several London Boroughs. I also have an independent clientele, and as a qualified systemic supervisor I can provide clinical supervision and consultation to other therapists. My particular experience is working with families, couples and individuals across a range of issues, including relational problems, especially between children and parents and other family members. I have wide experience helping individuals and families with a range of mental health issues including anxiety and depression.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
