I am also a highly experienced children’s and families social worker with over thirty years of experience of working with issues relating to developmental trauma and attachment difficulties.

  • Companies
  • Couples
  • Families
  • Groups
  • Individuals
  • Private healthcare referrals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Abuse in it’s many different forms and needs to be explored in a safe and emotionally secure and supportive environment.
Emotional and mental issues take many different forms and present in many different ways. Through my work I seek to help patients gain further insight, understanding and agency regarding their emotional well being and mental health
Either being a parent or our experience of being parented can be challenging and impactful leading to a variety of unresolved difficulties and distress. Hopefully through the experience of therapy these can explored and thought about to help enable better understanding and more appropriate ways to express our feelings and have our emotional needs both acknowledged and met.
Relationships take many forms with families, partners, social groups and work colleagues. At different points in our life relationships can feel difficult and problematic, it is at this point help may need to be sought.
I have a particular interest in working with attachment and trauma related issues. I have a particular interest in early developmental trauma, losses and separations that lead to ongoing life long difficulties regarding forming healthy, secure attachments with others.
