About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist who has worked with a wide range of emotional and relational issues. I combine a non-judgemental and supportive stance with being appropriately challenging. I run my practice from a quiet room in Deptford (photo below) a short walk from both New Cross and New Cross Gate stations. At our first session, we can discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, how we might work together and your hopes and expectations for our work. My advice to clients looking for a therapist is to find someone you feel at ease with, who you get the sense of being able to trust and build a relationship with over time. I charge £90 for psychotherapy (£80 concession for trainee therapists) and £75 for supervision. I am registered with AVIVA and AXA health insurance.

Supervision

I offer supervision for trainees and qualified psychotherapists - individually and in groups. I am a relational supervisor and integrate principles from humanistic theory, relational TA and relational psychoanalysis. I am an academic lecturer with a PGCert in Counselling and Psychotherapy in higher education. I am also a qualified supervisor and a PTSTA. I teach at the Metanoia Institute in London. I charge £75 per session.

I trained at the Metanoia Institute, one of the leading clinical and academic institutions for psychotherapy in the UK. I have several years of experience working in the charity sector and as part of a multi-disciplinary mental health team in the NHS.

As a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice; I am also a member of the European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA) and the International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis (IARTA).
