About Me

I have been in private practice in Wotton-under-Edge since 1999. I see adults and young people from the age 14 upwards. I was a school counsellor for 6 years, working with 11 to 16 year olds.

I work both short-term and long-term. I work humanistically, holding the therapeutic relationship as one of the most important aspects of the work and am flexible in my approach; hopefully holding the client at the centre of the work, while using my years of experience to work with what the client brings, changing my style to suit the client i.e. going at their pace, using the different tools I have in my tool box.

I work with a wide range of issues including; adult/childhood abuse and trauma, bereavement, relationship issues/breakdowns, depression, anxiety, bullying, work stress, work pressure, work/life balance, etc.

I also work as a supervisor and provide individual and group supervision.

My qualifications include a Person-Centred and Transactional Analysis (TA) Counselling Diploma; an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy; an Embodied Relational Therapy Diploma and Advanced Diploma, and a Diploma in Supervision.

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP), and the Embodied Relational Group (ERT).

I am also a Bowen Practitioner; Cert E.C.B.S.
