My approach is collaborative, practical and informed by a range of therapeutic approaches rather than following one method rigidly. I see therapy as something we work out together, guided by what is most useful for you.
Sometimes this means exploring earlier experiences and patterns. At other times the focus is more on current relationships, work, anxiety, decisions or changes in life. I am interested in helping people understand themselves more clearly, develop greater confidence in their own judgement and find ways of living that feel more satisfying and sustainable.
I’m an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and have been working with adults since 2007. People come to see me for many different reasons, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, work and career concerns, and periods of change or uncertainty.
I offer a calm, thoughtful space where we can understand what is happening, what may be contributing to it and what might help. My background includes psychotherapy, counselling and coaching, so our work can include understanding past experiences as well as looking at what is happening in your life now and how you would like things to change.
I work from a quiet, dedicated practice in Worthing and also offer online sessions.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
