I am a trauma-informed, integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, and have worked in the field of abuse and childhood trauma for 19 years.
I am particularly interested in working with Developmental Trauma and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) with a focus on somatic expression, attachment, and trauma theory.
I am often contacted by people who have tried therapy before with no lasting relief, often overwhelmed with emotional stress and chronic pain.
Trauma impacts every aspect of the individual: cognitive, physical, emotional, spiritual and social, and each person responds differently. It is because our responses to trauma are so complex that the therapeutic response must also be. In recognition of the complexity of working with trauma and abuse I utilise various modalities and approaches which are humanistic at the core and include working integratively utilising body orientated/somatic approaches, trauma theory, Neurofeedback, and creative approaches including clay therapy and play therapy.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
